Concept Statement

From the beginning of the project, I and my advisors, Britta and Elisabeth aimed for creating equality in public transportation. Equality doesn't only mean accessibility for disabled people, but it also means giving equal service to each member of a community.
In this case, a charged service can never give equal opportunities to different people. That's why, I believe public transportation should be a free service that is provided by municipality of a community.

Before starting the form studies, I made a concept statement that draws the characteristics of "the accessible city bus".

Accessibility brings independence...

and service equality

Equal service should be free...

and open to everyone.

That's why design of an accessible bus should be without obstacles...

and spacious.
